Empowered to Connect - Live Simulcast

Event Description

Led by Dr. Karyn Purvis (Director of the TCU Institute of Child Development), this 2-day conference is ideal for adoptive and foster parents, those considering adoption or foster care and those who are serving and supporting others, including social workers, agency professionals, church staff and ministry leaders, counselors, therapists and others all involved in adoption and foster care ministries or services.

Conferences sessions will be held from 9am-5pm on both days. All participants are highly encouraged to attend sessions on both days. Attendees will receive a training certificate at the close of each day. Please check with your agency regarding eligibility to receive ongoing training hours for conference attendance. 

The event, sponsored by Koinonia Family Services and Bridgeway Christian Church, will be held at Bridgeway Christian Church in Rocklin, CA on April 10th and 11th from 9:00am to 5:00pm. ETC Booklet, lunch, drinks, and light snacks will be provided.

CEUs are now available for MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs and/or LCSWs. This course meets the qualifications for eleven (11) hours of continuing education credit as required by the California Board of Behaviora l Sciences.
